To limit shift switching and pickups, navigate to the menu on the left hand side of your screen  and click on “Scheduling” then click “Planner.”

You’ll then land on the Planner page. Here, you’ll be able to see all of the team members who are scheduled to come into work on any given day. You will also see unpublished and unassigned shifts.

On the right-hand side of the page, you’ll see three icons. Click on the last icon in the list. It is the settings icon.

Once you click on the settings icon, the settings menu will pop out.

Then click on the “Edit Settings” button under the Shift Switches & Pickups heading.

A Shift Switch & Pickup settings window will pop up. Here, you’ll be able to determine if Switches & pickups that go into overtime should require manager approval by switching the button next to the text on or off.

You can also determine if you would like to allow shift switch invitations to be sent which may result in overtime by switching the button on or off.

Finally, you can define overtime as either hours over a team member’s weekly goal or more than 40 hours a week.

After you are finished making all of these changes, make sure you click the “Save Settings” button at the bottom of your screen.

Then pat yourself on the back, you’ve just limited Shift Switching and Pickups.
